Summertime

It's summer and there's so much fun to be had. Here's a quick glimpse of what we've been up to...
Our handsome little munchkin is 6 months old! He checked out at 15 pounds, 3 ounces and is growing at a steady rate. We've just started him on solid foods. He's taken to the spoon very well and has tried rice cereal and yams, so far. Stay tuned for some sticky business photos.!

Baby Shower for some friends of ours, Kat, Jeremy and their baby to be.

Kat & Jeremy with Parker. Do you think he knows what's inside that belly? Hint: it's a little girl!

Cousin Ellee caught thinking about what sort of trouble she can get into next.

P with a family friend, Josh.

P Squared! I got the privelege of watching a friend's son for a few days this month. His name is also Parker. He's six weeks younger than our little guy, although his size would make you think otherwise. Our days were filled with lots of song and play.

They were fascinated with eachother.

Parker attacks! Don't worry they played nicely and even shared some toys.

P loves to read

I don't understand why he just won't ever sit up straight in his Bumbo. He's always hanging over the side trying to get at things.

Uncle Micah stops in for a visit

In Loving Memory

A Tribute to Capi

A fellow Saddle-ite and dear friend (to many) has just passed from this world. She had been battling cancer for years and is finally at peace. At this moment she is probably riding a pure white stallion with our Maker; galloping through pristine pastures and over crystal clear brookes.

She was a great woman, mother and wife, who made an impact on my life in such a short time. I rode with Capi in the Bozeman Saddle-ites Performance Drill Team for only two years. The first time I met her at Saddle-ites practice, I was waiting for my horse to arrive and ended up chatting with her for several minutes. She was so personable and made me feel welcome. I got to know her better and quickly came to find that she had a big heart. She was selfless and sacrificed much of her time for her daughter. She had a great patience and happiness about her, and always had an encouraging word to share. I will miss her smiling face and her giant heart that she gave so willingly to others. I saw her about 6 weeks ago and knew she was in pain, but could see that she still had so much joy in her heart! She always did...

In the two years, that I had known Capi, I had never seen a smile leave her face. She truly is an inspiration to all who have known her. Capi, you will be missed!

So Many Changes

Our little boy is growing up and changing everyday right before our eyes. We've had the experience of a lifetime watching him grow over these last 5 & 1/2 months. Here are some recent pics of the little peanut.

Mommy & Me

What up dude? Don't even think about messin' with my toys.

I may be short, but at least I've got big feet!

Such a happy little boy

Family portrait. All tuckered out after a full day of fence building and landscaping.

This kid loves to be naked and tickled!

He's learned how to squeal and scream. I can't keep this kid quiet.
