Near the end of March, we took a family trip to San Diego. Parker got to meet his California grandparents and uncle for the first time. The 4 days flew by in a breeze and Ryan suggested that the baby and I say for a while longer, since we'd only be returning to the miserable spring weather in Bozeman. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend an extra week in the sunshine and have free babysitters on hand. We were sad to be apart from Ryan for the first time, but it was worth it to stay and visit with friends and family.
Parker was a little angel during our flights and layovers. He was absolutely fascinated by all the different people, sounds and sights. I couldn't have aksed for a better travelling buddy!
After Ryan left, my family and I took a mini road trip up to a historic mining town in the mountains. We ended up coming home with one of their famous apples pies.
This picture pretty much sums up the whole trip. I'm in the background reading and laying in the sun, while my parents are lovin on the little man.
He'd loved cruising with the windows down.
Such a happy boy in California.
More beach time.
My brother and I at the Carlsbad flower fields
Parker's first In-N-Out Burger. I had to help him finish it.
Mmmmm...we've never gone to California with out stopping here. It's tradition now!

Date night! We spent an evening walking around the GasLamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. It was nice to get away from the baby for a bit. We missed him bunches, but he was in good hands with my mom.
Great Grandpa Bean
Soaking up some sunshine. Parker is wearing one of my brother's outfits that my mom had saved from when he was a baby. We didn't have many warm weather outfits for Parker and this fit him perfectly.
Modeling his new shorts that his Grandpa bought for him.

Out to breakfast with some old friends.
Parker next to one of my friend's son's, Wyatt. If you can believe it, he was born one day before Parker, but had a head start on him weighing a whooping 12 pounds when he was born.
